There's no way to sugar coat it, TCU's run game production in 2024 did not come close to meeting expectations. Whether it was due to no running room, or running backs not able to read a lane, it was by far the worst aspect of the Frogs' season a year ago.

When looking at the Frogs' offensive line from last season, they ranked among the best in the Big 12 protecting Josh Hoover. Also, as an offense they finished third in scoring offense (33.5 ppg.) and fifth in total offense (426.8 ypg.). However, the Frogs averaged just 113.9 yards on the ground, which ranked 13th in the Big 12.

Heading into spring camp last month, the biggest emphasis on the offensive side of the ball was improving the run game. If 15 practices showed us anything, it looks like there could be an improvement for 2025....key word being could.
