TCU Gets Midweek Road Win Over DBU, 8-5

DALLAS — The old baseball adage "solo home runs don't beat you" rang true for TCU on Tuesday night as the Frogs beat No. 21 DBU, 8-5.
Four of DBU's runs came on solo home runs--one in the second, two in the fourth, and one in the ninth--as the Patriots made good use of the jetstream blowing out to left center field.
The win moves TCU to 15-6 on the season and drops DBU to 14-6. The loss is just DBU's second at home this season.
