Well good luck to Hauss. OSU has a couple of returning QB's who played four games this year with considerable snaps and passing attempts. The perceived leader, Smith will be a RS Fr. Rangel will be a junior.
Watch Meach convert Hauss into a slot. LOL

Hejny was also recruited by Oklahoma State’s new quarterbacks coach, Kevin Johns, who previously was at Duke as the OC/QB coach when Hejny first committed to Duke.

I will miss seeing him run for the Frogs and hope we don’t regret missing out on him as a dual threat QB like Boykin

Well, we’ll know pretty early on probably, cause if he can’t beat out two dudes who apparently couldn’t even beat out Bowman, then that says a lot.

I am afraid that we will come to regret it…

Hopefully Schobel will have the patience to backup Hoover for two years if the situation calls for that, like Manning was willing to wait and mature for two behind Ewers. I heard the Mannings insisted that Arch not be a starter his freshman year, so if Ewers was hurt somebody else would have to step in.

Will Hauss accept that role? Good luck, but remember there are far fewer players that transfer up. Most end up in far worse spots than where they started.

I've seen too many guys refuse to accept their roles as they try to compare themselves to others. Not everyone can be undersized and excel at certain positions. Though maybe size shouldn't matter as much. Very few can play multiple sports at a high level. I think back to when several players complained about being mistreated by Patterson. Much of it seemed to stem from them seeing what others were getting elsewhere and wondering why they didn't get it at TCU.

Yep! Once Hauss realizes his future is in the Wes Welker/ Julian Edelman mold, he’s going to be a pain in the frogs arse.

Running QB must be big enough to take a hit from linebackers and live to tell about it.
I have heard on this board that Josh was specifically told NOT to scramble because we were scared to play the backups. Not sure if it is true or not, but maybe next year he will run a little more in key situations now that Seals has a year in the offense and we have another young QB coming in.
