Brooks “little” brother started on their Oline and was “listed” at 340 but didn’t look that much smaller than the older one.I went to Argyle and SOC and they appeared to have another 400lb’er playing defense.

Well, our head coach helped Jared Goff turn into the #1 pick in the draft so I would say he’s capable of teaching and mentoring QBs.Watching the Columbus-Malakoff game again I'm even more impressed by Schobel's maturity and preparation. I think he has the potential to be exceptional at that proverbial "next level." Do we have a coaching staff capable of teaching, mentoring, and bringing out the talent he's bringing to Fort Worth?
Wex, that goes against the narrative of anti-Dykes no matter the lens. We could win the Big 12 next year and we'll have a portion of the fan base say, "yeah, but can he prove that he can do it year in / year out."Well, our head coach helped Jared Goff turn into the #1 pick in the draft so I would say he’s capable of teaching and mentoring QBs.
I saw Schobel do something very hard to coach and something that helps QB’s create their own shot, with about 4:00 left in the half in that game.Watching the Columbus-Malakoff game again I'm even more impressed by Schobel's maturity and preparation. Nebraska is an odd choice since they have Riaola.Marcos Davila decommitted from the Frogs 2024 class after Hejny committed to the class. He then went to Purdue and just transferred to Nebraska on December 20. Part of the reason he committed to TCU was having been a fan.
They likely had no idea that Goff was his anyway
Touchdown for the big German! The German plays for UCONN now and was a solid special teams player for us. The SOC kid idk where he went. @frogs9497

Shouldn’t he enter the portal then?Riaola transferring
I had read he was transferring to Miami. But he has denied those rumors.Shouldn’t he enter the portal then?
He has until midnight, so maybe waiting until after their game today. But sounds to me like he’s staying.I had read he was transferring to Miami. But he has denied those rumors.
Wouldn't surprise me if he transferred. He only did that three times in high school. He has until midnight, so maybe waiting until after their game today. But sounds to me like he’s staying.
I really don’t think many of these guys really dig into the rosters they are going to before they do their “committed” photos!Nebraska is an odd choice since they have Riaola.
I watched several games and agree. Not surprised. I was in Arlington for 9 state championship games, and he was by far the best QB.
All the above.I think many smaller guys see Kyler Murray and think that could be them. Others see the guys that were 4 year starters and think that is me. I understand wanting to play. Getting splinters from the bench/clipboard isn't fun. Some of the great players are those that put their ego aside and let someone help them. It might be waiting for your turn to play. It might also be trying a different position.
