TCU extends win streak to six games with 5-3 win over Texas State

TCU extended their winning streak to six games with a 5-3 road win at Texas State on Tuesday night.
The Frogs (13-4), who also moved to 5-0 in true road games this season, led on three separate occasions and never trailed. They got on the board in the top of the first, after a double steal put both Isaac Cadena and Cole Cramer in scoring position. A wild pitch moments later brought Cadena home for the 1-0 lead.
Texas State tied things in the bottom of the second, as freshman outfielder Zach Gingrich hit his first career home run, but TCU answered in the top of the third. Anthony Silva singled to left center, driving in Chase Brunson for the lead while extending his hitting streak to eight games.
