TCU Earns Commitment from Texas Tech Edge Transfer Cheta Ofili

TCU's coaching staff continues to hit the transfer portal this week, adding Texas Tech edge Cheta Ofili. Ofili visited TCU on Wednesday, and committed to the Horned Frogs shortly thereafter. Ofili announced his commitment on X on Thursday afternoon.
Originally a 4-star prospect out of Sachse High School, Ofili was rated as the No. 39 player in the state of Texas and the No. 235 overall player in the 2023 class. At 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, Ofili appeared in 10 games for Texas Tech this season, predominantly on special teams, and recorded one tackle for loss against Kansas.
