Sonny Dykes, Gordon Sammis and the TCU coaching staff earned a big commitment for the 2027 class on Friday morning with the addition of Crowley (TX) offensive tackle Alexander Herrera. Herrera committed while on an official visit in Fort Worth.

Herrera helped the Frogs kick off a big weekend of official visits in style by becoming TCU's fourth commitment for the class of 2027 and first offensive lineman. Rated as the No. 108 OT by the 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Herrera picked the Frogs over offers from Texas Tech, Nebraska, Arizona State, SMU and Arkansas among others.
