TCU Drops Saturday Matchup to Arizona State, 15-8

TEMPE, AZ – A nine-run third inning separated Arizona State from TCU on Saturday night, as the Sun Devils drew level in the series with a 15-8 victory.
Seven singles got things going in the bottom of the third, as Arizona State chased Lance Davis from the ball game and erased a 1-0 Frogs lead and took control, 5-1. Landon Hairston broke things wide open, launching his eighth home run and third grand slam of the season.
TCU fought back, scoring five runs in the top of the fourth to cut into Arizona State's lead, with RBI hits from Jack Arthur and Rob Liddington, plus a bases-loaded walk to Sawyer Strosnider. A run also scored on a double play, bringing the Frogs within three, 9-6.
