TCU Drops Rubber Match to Arizona State, 4-0

TEMPE, AZ – "Kole Klecker shoved it up our ass."
TCU's head coach Kirk Saarloos was short and to the point postgame, after the Horned Frogs lost the rubber match to Arizona State, 4-0. TCU mustered just two hits on the day, with Sun Devils' starter Klecker going seven shut out innings, striking out seven and issuing three walks.
The righty spent the first three seasons of his career at TCU before heading to Tempe this offseason, as part of a revamped Arizona State pitching staff. He kept his former teammates out of sorts all game, using a mix of fastball, cutter, changeup and curveball to great effect.
