TCU depth chart at defensive tackle

By JEREMY CLARK

It’s been just over two weeks since TCU players returned to campus. Players starting arriving on campus on June 8 and the team began their first session of voluntary workouts on June 15.

No official word has been given for when TCU will host their first practice of fall camp. The good news for now is the health of the program with COVID-19; no reports have surfaced with any play affected.

With spring camp basically a wash with only four practices completed, there are still plenty of questions marks heading into fall camp for the Frogs. There will be plenty of evaluations done over the course of fall camp for each position group to find the best player at each position.

So Bethley, Cooper, Ellis III, are you most returning experience followed by

Misi, Filitonga and the 2 Freshman Sorrells and Jenkins..

I think this is solid but it’s a group who’s success really depends on the growth at DE. If we can’t find a difference maker on the edge to open up pass rush lanes than we could really get pushed around. Neither Bethley or Cooper are bulls. Ultimately I think Freshman Sorrells will play a lot because he has the size to mix it up early.
