TCU concludes 2019 spring camp

TCU concluded their 2019 spring camp on Friday afternoon in an hour-long practice that head coach Gary Patterson opened up to the public. There were a few fireworks with the offense scoring a few times but the defense also recorded several “sacks” and picked off a couple of passes.
Overall, Patterson is pleased with how his team looked this spring but they’re a long way from competing for a Big 12 title.
“We’ve got a long way to go to win a championship; that’s what the whole goal is. You’ve got to get healthy and guys have got to grow up,” Patterson said. “I think of the guys that practiced, ‘are we better’, yeah we are. We just have a long ways to go.”
