TCU clinches opening series with 13-5 win over San Diego

A nine-run fourth inning highlighted TCU's series-clinching 13-5 win over San Diego on Sunday afternoon.
The Frogs batted around in the inning, with freshman two-way player Noah Franco launching a pair of home runs for TCU. Franco, who recorded his first career hit on Saturday night, bounced back in a big way after striking out six times in his first eight at bats.
His first home run was 99 mph off the bat, clearing the fence in right and giving TCU a 3-0 lead. Roughly 20 minutes later he was back at the plate, and this time he got all of the ball, hitting it 450 feet off the top of the dorms beyond right field. TrackMan clocked his exit velocity at 111 miles per hour.
