TCU Baseball Hires Thomas Eshelman as Pitching Coach​

Kirk Saarloos has made the first of two big assistant coach decisions this offseason, hiring Thomas Eshelman as TCU's new pitching coach.

Eshelman most recently served as the Upper-Level Pitching Coordinator for the Baltimore Orioles, focusing on advanced analytics, strategic development, in-game strategy and more. Prior to working with the Orioles, Eshelman spent four seasons in the San Diego Padres organization. He spent one season as the pitching coach of the Lake Elsinore Storm, the Padres' single-A affiliate, before moving to the Padres' High-A affiliate, the Fort Wayne TinCaps, in 2024.
