TCU baseball adds Jake Silverman to staff

Kirk Saarloos' staff is growing, as the team announced the addition of Jake Silverman on Wednesday.
Silverman, the former associate head coach at Washington, is joining TCU as the Director of Player Development. He will be tagged as an active recruiter, meaning he'll be able to travel and recruit on behalf of the program.
The news of Silverman's hiring comes on the heels of Yahoo! Sports' Ross Dellenger's report that baseball would be getting an increase in scholarships (from 11.7 to 34 per school), as a part of the settlement of House vs. NCAA. Silverman's role as a recruiter signals that TCU is all in on hitting the recruiting trail hard, as the scholarship change could come as early as the 2025-26 academic year.
