TCU adds 6-7Arizona State forward Kennedy Basham​

Mark Campbell and TCU continue to fire on all cylinders in the transfer portal as they've added yet another key piece in Arizona State transfer Kennedy Basham.

Basham, a 6-7 junior from Phoenix, spent the first two seasons of her career at Oregon before transferring to the Sun Devils ahead of last season. In her one year in Phoenix, Basham appeared in 32 games, starting 25, and averaged 5.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while amassing 83 blocks. She put together three double doubles on the season, including a 10-point, 11-rebound performance against UCF.

Originally a four-star recruit out of high school, Basham was the No. 59 overall player in the 2022 class.

These transfers may encourage HCMC to give the freshman bigs a redshirt year to develop.

Although from the video, Basham looks like she also has room for development (in the weightroom and on her post moves). Maybe HVL can convince her that getting stronger may not dent her modeling career. Strange worlds these athletes have to navigate in balance.
