College athletics is changing at light speed while the calendars for recruiting, practices and…actually playing the games seem to be getting longer and longer. Despite it all, at least one head football coach is still having fun.
That was the message from Sonny Dykes on Tuesday as he met with the media for the first time since the end of spring practice.
The Frogs are going through June organized team activities (OTAs) a recently-approved new time of the year where coaches and teams can officially gather. The players are going through workouts, walkthroughs and other fun activities like racing go karts, spelling bees, and dinner at Dykes' house.
All of it has Dykes, entering his fourth season at the helm, in good spirits.
