Prince, Van Lith Lead the Way as TCU Beats Houston Christian, 78-41
Jamie PlunkettFORT WORTH — A slow shooting night was the only thing that held TCU back in a season-opening 78-41 win over Houston Christian.
Sedona Prince led the Frogs with 29 points, Hailey Van Lith added 21, and TCU forced the Huskies into 36 turnovers in a dominant defensive display.
The Frogs lurched out of the gate in this one, starting just 2-11 from the floor and 4-17 in the first quarter. Defense got them through, as they forced seven Husky turnovers in the first quarter as the defense clamped down.
