Patterson sees same strong, physical KSU offense

TCU travels to Manhattan to battle Kansas State on Saturday and although the Wildcats are under a new scheme under first-year coach Chris Klieman, much has stayed the same. The offense is very similar to what TCU has faced in the past and the defense plays as hard-nosed as ever.
Offensively, the Wildcats will line up and run the ball straight downhill. On the season the Wildcats have averaged 389.6 yards per game on offense and to no surprise a bulk of that comes on the ground; 217.8 yards to be exact; which ranks fourth in the Big 12.
TCU head coach Gary Patterson says he sees a lot of similarities with the way the Wildcats play on offense compared to how they played under former coach Bill Snyder.
