Patterson says Ehlinger the difference for Texas

TCU battles Texas on Saturday and once again for the Frogs, they’ll be battling a tough quarterback. In fact, some regard Longhorn quarterback Sam Ehlinger as not only one of the top quarterbacks in the Big 12, some consider him the toughest.
On the year Ehlinger has thrown for 2,057 yards with 21 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions. He’s also added 318 yards on the ground and leads the Longhorns with 5 rushing touchdowns.
Frogs’ head coach Gary Patterson knows it will be a tough task slowing down the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder who can hurt you through the air or on the ground. Last season Ehlinger was a Frog killer, completing 22-of-32 passes for 255 yards and 2 scores while adding another score on the ground.
