Which means their donors have not had to donate to pay for them having extra money to put in the NIL.The school can't pay players directly

Yes and no. While they can't pay directly, NIL agents work directly with collectives and coaches. I know one who has every head coach at P4 schools on speed dial and negotiates directly with both on behalf of the players, whether recruits or transfers. The school can't pay players directly
If SMU gave Hawkins $3 million then the joke’s on them. Manning is a brand name. Paying oodles of money to him I can kinda understand.Behind? We have no nil. Smu probably Gave hawkins 3 million alone. Texas gave manning 20 million. Usc Gave Caleb 14 million. Marvin harrison Jr 20 million
$1MIL/year is pretty standard for 4 star QBs, unfortunately. $2/yr is common. Stetson didn't get a pay raise going from Georgia to the NFL.If SMU gave Hawkins $3 million then the joke’s on them. Manning is a brand name. Paying oodles of money to him I can kinda understand.
Probably gave more.If SMU gave Hawkins $3 million then the joke’s on them. Manning is a brand name. Paying oodles of money to him I can kinda understand.
Hey, at least he will be set for life even if he never plays a down of college football....All this format will shift again once the schools start paying directly, and then the players have to earn their NIL (at least mostly).
I fully expect this guy to play for someone other than SMU by time he is actually enrolled in college. He will have just picked up a lot of prepaid money along the way from transfer stops.
Guess that is good for him. And it is not my money.Hey, at least he will be set for life even if he never plays a down of college football....
And we are offering 50k a year$1MIL/year is pretty standard for 4 star QBs, unfortunately. $2/yr is common. Stetson didn't get a pay raise going from Georgia to the NFL.
Exactly the opposite they have wearily dallas big wigs willing to pony up to winWhich means their donors have not had to donate to pay for them having extra money to put in the NIL.
I don't know what we are offering, but if isn't $250k or more per year then we are not getting anyone good. And that likely isn't a 4 star for that price but just a better 3 star...And we are offering 50k a year
I was here way before thisWhy am I beginning to sense that Bigpurple872 is an SMU troll?
That's why they leave at the first other offer. I've heard we offer 50k maxI don't know what we are offering, but if isn't $250k or more per year then we are not getting anyone good. And that likely isn't a 4 star for that price but just a better 3 star...
Now they can.The school can't pay players directly
