No. 3 Seed TCU WBB Begins Their Journey at Home, Sets Sights on Sacramento

For TCU Women's Basketball, Selection Sunday was less of a revelation and more of a formality. Having secured their tournament status weeks ago and formally announced as a host site 24 hours prior, the only remaining variable was the destination of their potential Sweet 16 journey.
While the No. 3 seed was a lock, the bracket reveal brought a momentary jolt of "March drama." The Frogs watched as the first two 3-seeds in the Fort Worth Regional were awarded to Ohio State and Louisville - a result that registered a flash of surprise, or maybe even disappointment, in the room. Instead of staying within miles of their home campus for a potential deep run, the Frogs were slotted into the Sacramento Regional.
However, by the time the players met with the media, any disappointment about the travel log had been replaced by the "business-like" focus that has defined this Big 12 Championship season.
