247 Sports: Marcus Cannon expected to be back before regular season

Marcus Cannon hasn't been with the Patriots since the beginning of August after leaving practice with an apparent injury.
While it's been nearly two weeks and Cannon missed New England's preseason opener against the Washington Redskins, the injury doesn't appear to be anything too serious. According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, the Pats starting right guard is expected to return from his injury in time for the start of the regular season, if not sooner.
