Jerry Kill the 'fixer' trusted to improve TCU's offense
By Jeremy Clark
When Gary Patterson hired his longtime friend Jerry Kill in early January to be the "offensive head coach", he did it for many reasons. The two best friends had not coached on the same staff for over thirty years since their time at Pittsburg State; and what a great way for both of them to presumably finish their careers together in Fort Worth.
Being good friends is a plus, but above all, Patterson needed his friend for his coaching expertise and most importantly, his reputation of fixing things.
For TCU, the offense needs help in the worst way.
