HornedFrogBlitz TCU 2021 recruiting class awards

TCU head coach Gary Patterson and his staff wrapped up another successful recruiting cycle on Wednesday with the signing of one more player to complete their 2021 recruiting class. The class finished with 16 total prospects signing. Additionally, the Frogs added five transfers in the off-season.
Without a ton of scholarships available, the Frogs went with more quality than quantity for the class. In the end it affected the rankings and for the first time in five cycles, they finished below third in the Big 12. Overall the class finished No. 61 overall in the nation and No. 9 in the Big 12 according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
However, two of the Frogs’ signees did not figure into the rankings with D’Andre (D.J.) Rogers and Quincy Brown as originally part of the 2020 recruiting cycle. Neither player played football this past fall. Both were regarded as four-star players with Rogers as the No. 8 tight end in the nation and Brown as the No. 55 receiver in the nation.
