Everything Jamie Dixon said about facing K-State on Wednesday

The season for both Kansas State and TCU didn’t exactly go as planned. Now, in fairness, the expectations weren’t high. The Horned Frogs were supposed to finish last in the Big 12 and even though they beat that expectation, finishing in a tie for seventh place, 7-11 isn’t a Big 12 record to boast about. The Wildcats were expected to finish one spot ahead in ninth place, but fell off the rails and went 3-15 in league play to finish all alone in last place.
Now, the two face each other on Wednesday night of the Big 12 Tournament.
In the 7/10 game of the 2020 Big 12 Tournament one team, TCU, is playing for whatever postseason life it can sneak into. For K-State, it’s perhaps the last chance it has to take the floor this year. The postseason isn’t happening for these Wildcats unless they miraculously won the Big 12’s automatic bid.
