Duggan and Foster make final 247Sports Top 247

By Jeremy Clark

Two TCU signees were among the impressive list of the top 247 players in the nation as 247Sports dropped their final Top 247 list for the 2019 class on Wednesday afternoon. Making the prestigious list from the Frogs recruiting class is quarterback Max Duggan and running back Daimarqua Foster.

Duggan, a four-star out of Council Bluffs (IA) Lewis Central, saw a huge increase in his rankings. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder jumped from the No. 207 spot all the way up to No. 124 overall. He is rated as the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the nation and is now the top ranked player in the state of Iowa according to the new ranking.

Duggan had 24 TD and only 3 INT...that is great. Back around 2010-2011 there was an article about evaluating QB talent which said that accuracy and decision making were things that were evident in HS and followed the QB into the NFL.

And Foster has an incredible knack for breaking tackles and keeping his balance. Don't remember any running backs of ours showing that much in HS. Explosiveness, speed, vision, yes, but not tackle breaking like this.

Yes, both are now in the top 150. It doesn't appear that TCU's 247 class has been updated. It would be nice to know if any of the others had positive movement.
