Arrest warrant affidavit details incident that led to former TCU safety Jacob Fields dismissal​

Jacob Fields was dismissed from TCU's program for aggravated assault charges on an attack on teammate Dozie Ezukanma. An arrest warrant affidavit that went public on Monday detailed the unfortunate incident.​

On August 13th, TCU receiver Dozie Ezukanma was attacked former safety Jacob Fields inside TCU's locker room. Fields has been charged with aggravated assault charges causing serious bodily injury.

The result of the injury forced Ezukanma to spend three days in the hospital and he was unable to play in the Frogs' 2026 season opener against North Carolinain Dublin, Ireland.

On Sunday, August 30th, Fields turned himself into Tarrant County Jail and was later released on a $50,000 bond. On Monday, the arrest warrant affidavit was released and obtained by HornedFrogBlitz. The affidavit details the day's events.

A valid question. I would assume there’s background knowledge on everybody they sign but I don’t know that for a fact. Maybe Baylor could offer us some advice…
