2026 TCU Football Schedule

No Friday games. At Tech on rivalry weekend. I like. Pretty tough schedule. Way too early prediction of 8-4.
Don't care to look it up but I wonder how many other teams play both Tech and BYU. I would imagine those two will be the fairly overwhelming favorites to be the best teams given their level of booster money. That alone probably makes it more difficult than most.

Hate having the off-week after the Ireland. If TCU can't beat Grambling State on a short week, they might as well shutdown the program.
Don’t forget what happened to KSU. They were in a funk for 3-4 weeks after. That bye week could be a blessing in disguise. I take back what I said earlier, I say it’s a good thing. But that second bye week SUCKS.

KSU, Utah, at Tech to end the year is brutal. But again, having those teams at the end of the year could be a good thing. Allows the transfers to get in a groove and the younger guys to get up to speed. And at least 2/3 are at home.

But it SUCKS that we could have had 8 home games this year.

We could very well be 8-1 going into the final stretch, and end up 8-4 again lol. I’ll take 8-4 as my prediction, but we win 1 of the last 3, dropping a game we shouldn’t have lost. I just look at who’s coming in and who we lost, and I don’t think we got any better.

Why do people think KSU will be good? And isn't Utah going through a bit of an upheaval?

Yep, really dislike having to play 7 or 8 consecutive without a recuperation week off, mentally and physically. Maybe blame that damn Dublin game having to burn one of the off weeks! Canceling SMU was supposedly to get more home games, but we know the real reason - scared of the crosstown rival Dallas Ponies winning The Iron Skillet.

Scared? No. Tired of being the focal point of their season and treated like garbage at their garbage stadium? Yes.
