Wait, 100M vs 9.5 M? Total vs annually?
Total package at PSU was $100mil. BYU total is per year. Unknown what portion is base vs. incentives. Report that the $15m yearly NIL in addition to revenue sharing, to try and keep up with Tech. Facility upgrades. Staff upgrades-- pay and bodies.
Sitake was reported gone yesterday morning and ready to inform the team, before huge effort to keep him and greatly increase the overall football budget.
Penn St allegedly countered this morning, offering enough to make him the highest paid coach in the country. Sitake stayed for less money, but still a monster increase to pay plus overall support.

good beyond good. I really like this situation. Based On what I've read, Sitake was planted at PSU .He smelled the rank in Pennsylvania and said " Mountain towns for me" Sane University expectations for me.

Penn State and LSU will learn that expectations sometimes have a hard fail against real expectations.

I tell folks all the time that BYU's fan base is pretty rabid. They support the school, so I'm not shocked that they stepped up like that.
Night games at BYU are pretty big time. When they do a white out it gets crazy.
Utah gets just as intense. Must be something in the air up there. Now if Colorado can get back on track.

Glad he is staying there at BYU.

I think Matt Campbell would be a pretty good candidate for them but he's only won 57% of his games at Iowa State and never been to the CFP in ten years, and I've been told that's very mediocre. So maybe not.
You have to wonder if that is like a Gene Chizik thing. That if Campbell went to a different school he would see more wins, etc.
