2024 Football Regular Season Predictions

The success of this season will come down to 4 things, IMO:
1) O-line takes a massive step forward in run-blocking
2) An alpha RB1 emerges
3) Defense continues to improve and becomes a top unit in the conference
4) Hoover takes the next step in his development (i.e. sees the field better, protects the ball, becomes more comfortable running the ball occasionally)

+4. My Saturdays, from 11am till Pac12 AfterDark ended, used to be entirely planned around CFB. Not any more. I’ll still watch TCU games (and Army-Navy), but the B$G and $EC can go scheiss themselves.

I've been catching more game earlier in the week. The "D2" and FCS crowd. Which was once the highlight of Thursday night coverage. Like following the small schools like Slippery Rock.

What day in Jan 2023? As far as I can recall, the 2022 season ended with purple and white confetti raining down after our Frogs spanked Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl.
