2024 Election

Not proud of the vaccines? That's a Vivek sized pivot; I guess he finally saw the poll numbers on that issue among his base.
No doubt!

I know it it is a minority opinion on this board, but I am still of the opinion he saved many lives fast tracking vaccines during the pandemic phase. Obviously it wasn't just him accomplishing that, but he definitely deserves credit (or depending on your perspective, blame!).

One of the worst interviews I've seen from him. This will not play well with many of the Republican base who aren't indoctrinated in the Trump Cult™
He's not really a conservative, he's just been playing one for the last 6-7 years.

I'm in that minority I guess where I think he was a pretty good President, I think Jan 6 was WAY blown out of proportion, and I really wish he'd just go away and retire. Dude is almost 80, the Republican Party needs someone else to step up. I don't like the "Bush wing" of the party so I like what Trump has done to move the party away from that.

I agree with all of that.

I think he was a great President, just think the never ending scorched earth Dem strategy coupled with his age may be starting to erode his focus.

Desantis was actually leading the odds at one point iirc.
He was. Then the Trump machine went to work against him. Admittedly, he’s had a few self-inflicted wounds.

This will one day be a great case study in how we are being manipulated through the use of media, PR and social media. Republicans are capable of doing it, though it’s to themselves in this case. Democrats have it mastered.

He has been clocking out some cooky stuff lately.

Your crazy Uncle that has a FB pic of his in his truck wearing sunglasses who posts "I do not consent to Facebook sharing my information CUT AND PASTE THIS REALLY WORKS" because he believes everything he sees on the Internet.

...except instead of just being annoying on Facebook, he wants to be President of the United States. AGAIN.

I think this vaccine rushed out for the high risk individuals was a total success; and I think you're right that it saved many lives. I think the failure came in pushing it on the low risk, but that's not his fault.

If it is Trump v. Biden, Kennedy will hurt Biden more, but hard to say how much- not a ton of voters like both Biden and Kennedy. Most of Kennedy support comes from people who were already never voting for Biden. OTOH, fair number like both Trump and Kennedy. Don't think many Trump voters will jump to Kennedy if Trump is on the ballot, but they might if it is another Republican, esp if they feel Trump was slighted by the "establishment".
