For the love of god. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!

Just saw this. Unreal. Also saw Balogun is out for another 3 months after his shoulder surgery last month. Sarge just got back and Haji is another week or 2 away from returning after an ankle injury. We've got to keep those guys healthy and get both in form for March.

Was a great night for MNT players in Europe until Pepi’s injury. Damn.

+100. They have passed “Inside the NBA” as the best studio show in sport. I like NBC’s crew (Rebecca Lowe, the Two Robbies, and the Secretary of Defense are very solid if a bit dry), but I’d almost subscribe to a PL show with The King, Kate, Carra, and Big Meeks.

I know I’m getting older when I find myself needing subtitles for Carra and Meek’s accents.
The crew for USMNT games was even better. The chemistry between Deuce, Charlie Davies, Gooch, and Kate Scott (didn't realize she'd gotten married until I saw the last broadcast) was fantastic. Buckets of laughs. I think they should do a 2 hour summary show after each weekend. I'd watch every second.

Whoever produces that show and books the talent is the best in the business.

Pepi just had surgery on his knee. He's out for the remainder of the season. Americans at PSV can't stay healthy. Dest is still out, Tillman has been out for a month or more, and Ladezma is also injured. Ugh.

Cade Cowell has a younger brother who looks almost exactly like him. Scored in the U-17 qualifiers, but it's hard to tell how impressive that is. We are up 9-0 after just 30 minutes. The Virgin Islands look like the first time out for the Jamaican bobsled team. Their goalie is built like the Great Hambino from The Sandlot.

Now 10-0 32 minutes in. Chase Adams just scored his 6th goal. Carizzo has a hat trick also.

ETA: 13-0 at half. I've never seen anything like this. There's absolutely zero resistance from the opposing defense. The Virgin Islands' goalie is their best player. He's made a few great saves, but most of these are impossible to stop when we're in 3v1 on their keeper. They should shut down their federation and find a new sport to play.

McKennie and Weah taking on Ledezma and PSV in UCL action. Wes has already scored. It's a shame the injured triumvirate of Pepi, Tillman, and Dest couldn't also be playing in this one. Pretty sure 6 Americans playing in a single UCL match would set a record, particularly in the playoff rounds.

It was a banger too…

Sarge had a brace. His 2nd one was absolutely mauled from 20 yards. Maybe Moose can share the tweeter highlights. For some reason the Instagram reel isn't sharing here.

Sarge is still at it. If Norwich don't earn promotion it sounds like he's going to have Premier League interest.

Puli scored a brace as well. Went top bins on a PK to level and won it with a back door tap-in off a cross.

Haji is finally healthy again and showed out today. The first one was a great hit. He and Sarge were lighting up the EFL before injuries and both appear to be back in fine form.

This probably goes in the MLS thread but I didn’t look for it ha. This is huge and I’m here for it.

Not only did the USL back in February vote to establish a Division 1 league to rival MLS, today, they overwhelmingly voted for promotion and relegation along it and their current two leagues.

They hope to have it in place by 2028 or so. This is awesome! The US will actually have a full on league system. There are some stumbling blocks in the way but I’m very hopeful. This could be the real beginning of something good.

USL League 1 kicked off today and they have a new team in Sherman….Texoma FC. Their website is pretty neat either way a neat little video explaining their crest.

Nice little crowd for the game too!…announcer just said they have 3,104 or something like that attending this first game.

Ricardo Pepi’s little brother, Diego, is playing for them. Sadly, they are currently down 2-0 to Knoxville. You can watch all the USL Championship and League 1 games on ESPN+.
