Seen any updates on his injury? Also, not loving the recent form of Matt Turner. He needs to be playing and is on the verge of riding the pine.
Last I saw it doesn't sound like he came off due to injury, but for precautionary reasons since he's had such a heavy workload. Seems rather dubious, though. You might do that against a lesser opponent, but not at half time of a match that could determine a Serie A trophy with a player who might have been the best on the pitch in the first 45 minutes. Given Puli's injury history it's not hard to imagine he's dinged up. It does sound like he's expected to start this weekend, though.

And Turner has been surprising. Wish Horvath had been given a chance to stay with Luton Town b/c they could use him and we could use him getting minutes given Turner's struggles. Maybe this is the window Slonina needs to break through?

So Musah is in Pulisic's spot and Puli isn't in the team sheet today. Looks like that wasn't precautionary like Pioli said.

Saw a couple days ago where she was the favorite to get it. She'll have a chance to build a fresh squad and there's a lot of good talent to do it with.

Up and down weekend for the Nats abroad. Haji Wright had another large weekend with a brace, Pepi and Tillman scored for PSV, McKennie was vital again for Juve filling in for Weah at right back while he recovers from the thigh injury, Balogun was involved in another goal for Monaco, but Puli missed due to injury and Pefok was removed before halftime due to injury after scoring another goal for Gladbach. And the well documented decline of Turner resulted in his relegation to the bench for Forest's win. Hopefully Weah and Puli can get fit before the international window next week. At least Tyler Adams didn't hurt himself worse this week (that we know of).

ETA: Busio and Tessman have Venezia in automatic promotion position in Serie B too. Busio scored the lone goal of the game to secure the win.

More good news bad news. Milan beat PSG to stay alive in the UCL, but Puli went off with a hamstring injury. It's just unreal all the injuries we're having to key guys.

Maybe paper tiger refers to a really dangerous player who's as fragile as paper. If so we have a lot of them.

Pioli said this post-game...

“It seems like a cramp, but in the same place as last time,” Pioli said. “We really hope it’s just that.”

Hopefully it's very minor. The way we went down didn't look like a cramp, though.

This could be a huge opportunity this window for guys like Tillman, de la Torre, Aaronson, and maybe even Paredes. If Weah isn't fit in time we could be going into this window without both of our starting wingers. I'd seriously consider moving Dest up to the wing.

MRI cleared him today, fortunately. I am sure they will be cautious but he is clear to play by this weekend.

They need to be all over Koleosho. Desperate for quality depth behind Puli.

Translation:
Christian #Pulisic : the MRI ruled out injuries to the left thigh flexor muscles. Last night he only suffered a contracture. His situation will be monitored day after day in view of Lecce where, however, he should start #Chukwueze

Whew! Last thing he needs is to replicate Chelsea where he started hot and was a fan favorite until he got injured and never recovered his status.
