City and Barca got relatively straight forward draws. Group F, though... yikes. Looks like a scrap for all four clubs.

- Group B: Sevilla, Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven and Lens.
- Group C: Napoli, Real Madrid, SC Braga and Union Berlin.
- Group D: Benfica, Inter, Red Bull Salzburg and Real Sociedad.
- Group E: Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Celtic.
- Group F: Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Milan and Newcastle United.
- Group G: Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys.
- Group H: Barcelona, Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk and Antwerp.

"Decline" seems harshJust saw that Gio is finally back training with Dortmund. At long last. Hopefully he can get right and stay right.
Pretty remarkable that we can read an article like this and not see his name on it. It's been a steep and rapid decline for him.

Decline in terms of perception. When he's healthy he's still as good as ever. But Gio was on this list last year in the top 50, IIRC, as a 19 year old and, a year later, he's off it altogether.
He's strongly considering it but only so he can get Arriola, Lletget, Roldan, and Zardes on the field together.This is encouraging from Berhalter. I mentioned a while back the idea of a 3 man back line to maximize the talent in the player pool at midfield. If he's genuinely considering it I think we'd benefit from it.

Gregg Berhalter says he wants to the lead the USMNT to a World Cup semifinal, but that is a tall order and Berhalter needs a plan to do it.
