Uh, Alex Delton.

Yeah, we should have brought in a lot of transfers.

as well as michael collins and matthew baldwin who quit football last june

yes, as said before the qb recruiting has been a combination of some bad luck with injuries, some unfulfilled potential, and bad fits

whether it was right or not, how anyone here would run the program doesn't matter as gary has and will continue to run his program how he wishes and he let sonny run the quarterback room

sonny is gone, hill is now the guy, and what the frogs have is what they have so time to let it play out

Interesting....

Domani Jackson CB 6-1/185 Mater Dei (5 star) USC commit

would be huge if the frogs can get this guy on campus for an ov

not about moral victories making a list as this guy has been a dominant player in a very, very good high school league

So tOSU is getting an OV with USC, Bama, Maize & Blue, Boomer, and TCU? Wonder which one isn't getting visited.

michigan is just another one of those big schools who continually gets media attention, continually gets air time, is considered a big time program and for all the talent they have had run through their program they really haven't done much with it.

consider that since 2000 their lowest rated recruiting class was 37th and they have had 12 top 10 recruiting classes and only 3 classes have ranked outside the top 20

with all that talent they have a 65% win rate, tied twice for the conference title with the last tie being in 2004, 3 top 10 finishes and 13 top 20 finishes, only lost less than 3 games twice since 2000, and are 5-12 in bowl games

all those resources, all that history, all that hype, the brand recognition, the talent, and they really haven't done [ Finebaum ] in conference since 2004

agree frogs won't be viewed as a comparable program with those 4 schools by many, but frogs run since 2000 stacks up well without the recruiting classes and yet kids fall for the line about putting talent in the nfl when michigan is recruiting among the best talent in the country year after year and only winning 2 out of 3.

Depending on who you talk to TCU and Michigan are battling over 3 kids right now but two of them are especially wanted by the Frogs.

This is more of a question, but if you want to play CB in the NFL would you not think TCU has a better pedigree than Michigan, at least as of late? Again a question to gauge thoughts.

Michigan has had 7 DB's drafted in the last 5 NFL drafts

Michigan has had 7 DB's drafted in the last 5 NFL drafts

which goes back to recruiting and the fact a number of db's who get drafted high are as much because of the physical tools that made them elite recruits as they were signed out of high school over refinement of technique and coaching

if someone asked me what restaurant they can take me to i am not a huge steak house guy because if you have a good source for the meat and just a little skill at home you can crank out a very comparable product

if the frogs were given the michigan db recruits over that same time period i am curious how many would have been drafted. would guess a similar number

With NIL the bag man has been replaced by the ad man, and its all within the rules,
Comical for a kid to think he will make more at SMU as at a nonskill position than TCU. Also not sure it’s legal for a kid to be paid before he’s even enrolled.

Doesn't have to be paid currently, just pledged. If it doesn't happen after high school season has ended you just sign with someone else.
