if you go by numbers the frogs have 7 offensive tackles who are junior or younger and who knows if storment or myers returns

they could use some bodies inside, especially with harris continued struggles to stay healthy, but who knows how much they are actually able to do in recruiting and with some states not even playing not sure how you fill some of the holes needed to be addressed in the class without going heavy grad transfer and taking some flyers

I'm OK with HS flyers/projects. JUCO guys need to be more ready to play or they're almost useless. This kid was not close to being ready to play for us IMO.

We better hope TCU can pull in some quality, emphasize on quality, offensive line transfers.

About Belton being encouraged, no one has a clue if that is true sounds like a bad excuse.

TCU needs to recruit better in the trenches and send out more offers. It could be the OL coach that these recruits are not fond of, I know most here are not impressed. TCU OL needs to show something these games finishing the 2020 season, and TCU football video needs to focus on them not the wide receivers and quarterback. TCU does have talent that could make a great offensive line they just needs some depth and add some OL playmakers. TCU needs to do a better marketing job with defensive and offensive lines, get those athletes more interested in TCU. Of course winning is the best marketing.

thought belton is a prep school prospect so he would still have 5 to play 4, but could be wrong

he did look very raw, but right now the pickings are pretty slim on high school kids who are physically ready and technically skilled enough to play so that leaves the jucos who aren't playing and grad transfers

would really like to see some more help in the interior offensive line

Huge bummer that we didn’t have room for Osborne when he wanted to transfer home. Would have probably started immediately.

Kid went for almost 250 yards receiving in a playoff game just a week ago. Impressive

They lost last week and he had 138 yards receiving in that game but two weeks ago against Pecos:

237 receiving on 6 receptions (one 98 YD TD) and rushed for 49 yards, 2 TDs.

Finished the year with 1,045 receiving yards on 61 receptions (17.13 TPC) and 10 TDs along with 569 yards rushing on 72 carries (7.9 YPC) and 9 TD.

Has a twin brother RJ who plays on defense but has been injured.

Some additional good news is that TCU commit Jasper Lott was in the starting line-up for Argyle in their playoff win over Waco La Vega. Didn't record any official stats and the Eagles only had 69 total YDs passing on on 3 completions but won 28-14.

Lott had been out since 11-12 with an injury on an awkward tackle.

TJ Steele is a 6' kid with speed to burn. Great pickup for the frogs.

posted a 10.97 in the 100 last february early in the track season before everything go shut down which is a solid time and for reference derius davis his senior year in high school ran 10.94

i found this article from a lubbock tv station's site about steele as well as another from the lubbock paper
