With the Rangers picking #2 in next month’s draft, here’s a couple recent mock drafts from MLB Pipeline...

https://www.mlb.com/news/mock-mlb-draft-2021-june-9

2. Rangers: Jack Leiter, RHP, Vanderbilt

The Rangers have opted for college performers from power conferences with their last two first-round picks and Leiter would fit that mold. They've been hot on the trail of Watson for weeks, and it's possible they could go the high school shortstop route and take him over Mayer and local product Lawlar.

2. Rangers: Henry Davis, C, Louisville

The Rangers have gone college bats the last two Drafts in the first round, with Justin Foscue and Josh Jung, and Davis fits the mold.

Dont worry, whoever Daniels doesn't pick will go on to a Hall of Fame career

[ What the heck? ] is going on in MLB???

Arizona at 19 straight road losses and the Rangers have 16 straight after getting stomped by the Dodgers tonight.

At least we're(Rangers) not the worst!!!(yet)

BTW if you're wondering, the longest road game losing streak in MLB history is 22 games by the '63 Mets.

So if the Rangers don't win on this road trip, they'll be at 20 straight road losses, which is entirely possible since we go to Houston after LA.

Arizona goes to San Francisco for a 4 game series starting Monday. They would break the record of 22 straight if they get swept.

The Rangers don't go back on the road until the end of the month. A six game trip against Oakland and Seattle that goes into the first week of July. So technically the Rangers can only tie the record this month. They won't be able to break the current record until July 1st, if they get swept by Oakland. Arizona could have established a new record by then.

6 no-hitters(really 7) thrown in the first month and a half and now there could be 2 teams break a 60year old losing streak record pretty much at the same time.

20 scheissing 21.
