Once a player enters the portal their scholarship is ended. If they choose to go back to their former school that school must award a new scholarship to them and I believe that counts toward the one time transfer without laying out a year. So if they transfer again they lose a year of eligibility and sit.

I feel like he has to be about 37 years-old at this point. Didn't JET juke him out of his jock about a decade ago?

that was brandon jones who now plays for the dolphins

foster signed i believe in 17 or 18 and was in the class with sterns and green etc...that the horn recruiting experts claimed would rival some of their great secondaries of old

yeah, about that......

Aside from the NIL stuff, it's encouraging that we now have a coach who embraces the portal as a huge opportunity for TCU to grab kids that screwed up by committing and spending a year at redneck outposts that are very unfriendly and even hostile to African Americans and other minorities. I remember moving my son into his dorm in Fayetteville nine years ago when the state senator from the district covering the area stated that African Americans were fortunate to have been forced onto ships and brought here as slaves. Other than a few headlines, his ignorant statement pandered to his constituents and met little if any outrage.

Crappola like this goes on throughout the old confederacy and the campuses in the outposts of the midwest, while not being so hostile racially, are no place for Texas kids to have to spend years. If the NIL money can be suitable, I think alot of these kids will jump at the first opportunity to leave and come to a city with a vibrant AA community now that they don't have to sit out a year..

Collegiate athletics has descended into a state of regression that is little more

than a revolving door. Its participants clambering to offer their services to the

highest bidder. Loyalty, dedication and amateurism have become archaic symbols

of the past....and does anybody really care?

Truth all college sports are changing fast and so is every else. The past is your last breath and the future is your next breath. Nothing from here slows down. New rules and new ways are everywhere. If you are not running you are not staying up.
