Yes, that was an interesting run out of Bishop Gorman HS... was considering TCU/ then verbal to Aggie/then signed with tOSU/then trans to Miami/then trans home to UNLV. Yes, time to retire.
Curious what ever happened to the "famous" Gunner Kiel(QB)... believe that was another, with several commits and transfers(including LSU/ND).

pete k does have a history of having some pretty solid defensive ends, but he uses the same alignment as gary has used the past few season and which mathis has struggled at times

not sure losing a 225 lb defensive end fits the picture your are selling and he and ochaun were the two toughest fits in the new defense
especially when you consider the difference in size of the defensive bodies the frogs have brought into the line
