Thoughts on Petrie over Byrne at catcher?

I mean, a 6th year player doesn't transfer half way across the country to sit the bench I guess. But I like what I've seen in Byrne. Maybe Petrie has an edge behind the plate?

If he hits .212 again he better be sitting the bench.

Yeah, bio says Petrie had a better season going in Covid shortened 2020, hitting .270. We’ll see.

Honestly surprised how much this resembles our line up from last year- more importantly that it doesn’t address a couple of the consistent issues we had

Well, it is a fill-in-three-spots projected lineup. Still, there’s still a couple of guys there that should be on a short leash.
