I just assume Arriola starts against Mexico. That right side with Dest, Musah, and Weah was dynamite. All 3 are so explosive and they combined several times on some beautiful one touch combinations that zipped the ball around like a pinball machine. Some spectacular stuff from them.
I laughed, but I worry you're right. Lletget too.I just assume Arriola starts against Mexico.
The trio of Lletget, Arriola, and Zardes makes me irrationally angry. Anybody over the age of 22-23 (at the absolute most) that isn’t playing in Europe should not be plying meaningful minutes for this team.I laughed, but I worry you're right. Lletget too.
I feel I could have written that were I privy to those stats. I agree with all of this.USMNT World Cup qualifying: What's working and what's not through six games
The U.S. men's national team has pushed through six games of World Cup qualifying and is on track despite lots of drama. What have we learned?www.espn.com
Solid article. I think I about 99% agree with his player rotation comments toward the end.
I’m not sure he’s ever much of a factor for the USMNT again.Sargent absolutely flubbed a WIDE open goal chance today. Just awful.
Yeah, think his window has passed.I’m not sure he’s ever much of a factor for the USMNT again.
Those kits this year are repugnant. And it's not just Spurs. Most clubs have heinous 3rds and tons of grotesque away kits too. Darn Nike.Newcastle v Spurs game was stopped for a bit as a spectator suffered a heart attack it seems. Spurs players alerted the ref and the team doctors to get a defibrillator. Class acts all around from players, staff, and fans.
Also, the spurs away kit is even more putrid on tv.
PSG v Leipzig and Dortmund v Ajax today should be good. Wolfsburg v Salzburg tomorrow should be fun to follow also.CL back this week. Which games are you paying attention to?
