Crossing to the foul line side of the bag on a throw from the middle of the diamond. Did the same thing at least twice in the regional tournament but not against the Frogs.

I’m about 99.99% certain I’m right. Not only can you watch that and immediately tell he didn’t do it on purpose, but there’s literally zero reason why he would want to do something like that given the magnitude of the situation and the game.

Underdogs were live for this World Series. Michigan and FSU had compelling stories....
Still might be live dogs today (Louisville & Auburn) but look for at least one of the favs to win, likely MS St.

Tadlock has great offensive teams but it takes elite pitching and defense to win games in the CWS. OTOH, Schloss builds his teams for Omaha.

Random thought about Lupton.
I’ve wondered for years that Lupton needs a real batter’s eye wall instead of the shrubs. Maybe doesn’t matter to our hitters and effects opposing teams more, if indeed it’s less than ideal.
