If OU beats Texas next weekend, everyone in the Big XII moves up the bowl food chain because they will be in the Playoff over an Ohio State team that got embarrassed on national TV by a mediocre Purdue team.

Big XII conference will punish Baylor with either Memphis or the Cheez-it Bowl.

Why do we all move up? Seems like a lock to me that no matter who wins that game the Big 12 is getting two teams in a NY6 Bowl.

I hadn’t considered playing Boise in a bowl, I actually kind of like it, would possibly make that trip

The Liberty Bowl officials were at our game last night, so I believe they will invite the winner.
TCU vs. Vandy or S.C. in Memphis New Years Eve. Sounds like fun, but dress warm.
Rose Bowl Committee was in Ft Worth in 2014 when we stomped ISU 53-3 and dropped 3 spots. Personally witness them in their Black sport coats with Rose Bowl patches on the front pockets with CDC walking out of the elevator.

I wouldn’t read too much into them being there.

Rose Bowl didn't have an choice in the invite in 2014.
