JONATHAN MARSHALL - 3* DT - 6'3" 256 lbs - Shepherd HS - committed last July

2016 Prospects
CORNERBACKS
JARED MAYDEN - 4* CB - 6'0" 190 lbs - Sachse - offered by Everyone (UT, Aggie, Ohio St, ND, Oregon, etc.), has camped at TCU, visited multiple times including TT game. My guess is his top 3 are Ohio St., Oregon and TCU. ATM and Rice round out his top 5.
JAYLON JONES - 4* CB - 5'10" 165lbs - Allen HS - BU, Ole Miss, Miami - visited for the OSU game and left very impressed
ERIC CUFFEE - 4* CB - 6'0" 190lbs - Waco HS - #191 in Scout 300 - Has not been offered yet by TCU, Glasgow talks with him. I think we have two other CBs ranked above him, I hope we don't wait until it's too late. I think Cuffee wants to commit. Has been on campus many times, is tight with commits Wooten, Somerville, Wallace, etc. Offered by OU and Cal currently.

And what's with the throw away comment on Robert Washington? He's spoken highly of Luper in the past and is visiting us this month despite living in NC.

Hopefully he (Washington) proves me wrong, just my gut feeling. Just look at his Twitter and you will see why I said what I said. Strikes me as a guy who wants to see how many offers that he can get and go on as many visits as he can.

Scout. I have never been impressed with Rivals or ESPN's evaluations. I hope Washington surprises me.

I would love to see us land some top OL talent in this class. DLine we should be good but would love quality OLinemen. I struggled for OL names when compiling this list.

Doesn't matter what their stars are. They commit to TCU, they will be dropped a star or two by ESPN or Rivals, etc... :wacko:

These days as in 2015 or as in recently? Because Emmanuel Porter was either U ranked or a 2star when he first committed to TCU. When he recommitted, he was a 3 star, I think.

When he committed to UT, some sites had him as a 4 star. When he dropped UT and signed with TCU I think he was a 3 star.

He was unranked when he committed to us because no one had ever heard of him before.

Add Greg Little to the OL. I know he is commited to A&M but I hear he's looking around some. He's been to TCU before.

Also, put me down for Jared Mayden and Devin Duvernay as must gets. These guys are just straight studly.

Scout 4-star when he signed with us, I believe.

Should use 247 Composite rankings, which combines Scout/Rivals/ESPN/247 rankings to give a clearer picture.
