Has there been any news yet regarding the 2013 Spring Game and if it will actually happen?

They are putting in new grass at Amon Carter. No spring game.

I suspect 2011(?) will be the last spring game we ever have (with Patterson).

It's amazing how many spring games are televised these days.

Some dates have been announced already.

Oklahoma's has been announced for April 13th.

LSU's is the following Saturday on April 20th.

Here's some other early dates: Florida, Oregon, Ohio State.

I bet they wait to do it if they do until mid April considering they are putting in more grass. It will probably be more low key this year with the Frogs being in the Big 12.

I see the backup QB at Oregon is transferring to SE Louisiana. Bryan Bennett was the early favorite until Mariota beat him out. We shall see him the second week of the season.
