@SW toad - Yeah, that, and their snapper knocked out of the game in the first half.
But I guess from a momentum standpoint, we had made it 31-10 late 3rd quarter and they fumbled the kickoff (fortunately it was called a fumble on the field) that we recovered. Bram converted 3rd and long in the red zone with a scramble where he leaped and got spun in the air by a tackler. Then Bram scrambled in for a TD from the 2 when a Duck defender inexplicably shied away from a hit. Suddenly it was 31-17 to end the 3rd quarter. And we believed.
So ... Oregon's fumbled kickoff.

Rewatching the highlights, that first Frog TD on a fourth-down play was key. Didn't seem like the Frogs would ever get in the endzone. Someone had a busted route, with two receivers running to the same corner. Yet somehow, Bram got it to Jaelan Austin for 6.

Huh? Was pouring rain when the game ended.
I don't remember it pouring on our walk from the stadium back to downtown. It did on our way there.

What was crazy about post-game ... of course it went long because of the OTs. Restaurants closed with 65,000 people a few blocks away about to pour out into their district.

We were lucky to find a restaurant taking the last table. A TCU couple let us join them so we did and paid for their dinner.

Oh it never let up as I remember. We couldn’t get an uber after the game and I was soaked. At least we won so it was worth it unlike the NCG in LA when we left just after the 3rd qtr into a major downpour. I looked like I had jumped in a pool when I got home.
We had trouble getting an uber too. The one that finally got through was a moonlighting Austin PD officer, that said San Antonio PD was keeping ride shares out and only let him through as a courtesy. We were drenched.

Yes! His recovery is the entire focus of the final act. He’s doing well, but it’s been a long road.
Thanks for this update. He’s a special guy who is part of one of TCU football’s most memorable games that I can think of. I am glad he’s doing well. I look forward to watching your film. Thank you Clint for all u do as well. Your videos are always well done and hilarious- even during the agony of defeat.
