Gameday Thread, Top 10 Edition: TCU vs BYU

I've been saying that on here since the UNC game. I think it's more than a "real possibility" and closer to a certainty at this point.

Gameday Thread, Top 10 Edition: TCU vs BYU

Dang. Fired during the game is a bit crazy! There's got to be some wild background on this story.

Gameday Thread, Bounce House Edition: TCU at UCF

I said during the UNC game that this feels like the year that the no-shutout streak comes to an end. Nothing has been done to change my mind.

    Week 3 Games

Yeah, he's got to be near the top of their list when they move on from Fickell. If he doesn't get the call though, I'd love to see him brought in.

    Week 3 Games

New Mexico Head Coach Jason Eck is on the short list of guys that I would like to see take over for Sonny.

Gameday Thread (not sponsored by Guiness): TCU vs. UNC in Ireland!

I feel like this is the year that no shutout streak ends.

I will forever laugh hysterically at this meme. Well played!

FWST: TCU football: Who the Horned Frogs lost and gained in the transfer portal

It's pretty interesting that 8 of the 12 kids who left TCU remain unsigned. I hope somebody out there is doing some analysis of portal entries to see how many actually improve their situation.

Gameday Thread, H-Town Edition: TCU at Houston

I'd be fine firing Sonny before he gets to the locker room, regardless of the outcome here.

Gameday Thread, H-Town Edition: TCU at Houston

I support the idea of a punitive benching. However, at this point do you honestly think it would make a difference? I have zero faith in this staff's ability to evaluate and develop QB talent. Hoover has regressed badly this season. I don't believe that anyone behind him would be better.

Translation: I've been getting familiar with a student/intern/administrative assistant in the biblical sense. Word got out to my family/boss/subordinates and now I need to step away so that I don't lose a lot of money and future job prospects and my wife doesn't Bobbitt me. Please remember all...

Game thread Horned Frogs vs The BYU Kittens.

Hoover hasn't been helping himself much this season. He refuses to take open running lanes, he forces throws into tight coverage, and he misses wide open receivers. He's regressed this season and most of that falls on him.

Game thread Horned Frogs vs The BYU Kittens.

The only thing I have left to cheer for this season is Dykes' termination.

FWST: TCU football needs more from QB Josh Hoover if it wants to contend in Big 12 | Opinion

The run game isn't helping Hoover. The play calling isn't helping Hoover. Most importantly though, Hoover isn't helping himself. All season long he has been attempting throws into tight coverage windows. He's locked onto receivers and failed to run through his progressions. He's missed open...

If that happens, then hopefully he looks unemployed.

Gameday Thread, Sparky Edition: TCU at ASU

This was a Sonny Dykes kind of game. Start good, make dumb mistakes, trail off as it goes along. Feels like an 8- 9 win season.

Gameday Thread, Skillet Edition (the last? one): TCU vs SMU

No Crystal Ball, just years of coaching quarterbacks. Not his best game today, but we're going to win and that's what matters the most.

Gameday Thread, Skillet Edition (the last? one): TCU vs SMU

Seems pretty evident he was throwing to McAllister based on his windup and feet positioning. The other WR was headed toward the sideline, pulling 1 DB with him. That would've left 3 DBs and McAllister on that route.
