Exactly… This is precisely why I was screaming about what a mistake. It was to part ways with Gary Patterson. And if the thread above pointing out that TCU only had $2 million to spend on a quarterback is accurate then obviously they should have gone the route of recruiting a superstar level...

Some of our greatest recruiting and players came to TCU to play in the MWC/CUSA/WAC. There’s no denying that the B12 we joined and the one we are in today are two very different leagues.

Well then go through the lists that TCU and every other program has that gives the number of “NFL players” they’ve had and let them know they need to edit the list. Counting practice squad there are about 2,200 NFL players (professional football players). About 500 of those are practice squad...

Yea OK. They could all at least be on a practice squad. But $13,750 per week is a hell if a lot less than they’ll make playing for LSU. There would be a list of top 25 teams that would love to have those guys.

Joe Montana could be playing QB and it wouldn’t matter when you’re getting your ass dominated in every facet of the game but especially up front.

Keep in mind too that LSU will be adding the NFL guys into the mix once there is a definitive final ruling for their eligibility.

That’s about the same words Saban used in an interview I saw. LSU looks heads and shoulders above every other team I’ve watched so far.

Saban said it was the easiest place he ever recruited to. And that was before you could just buy a whole roster using your boosters unlimited resources right on top of the table. LSU may look like more like an NFC East team than an NCAA team very soon.
