I'm not saying you're wrong but the fact a coach now has to raise money to field a team (in addition to everything else) shows how insane college sports have become. What a cluster.
No reason for these guys to go to class anymore. Minor league football is here - I assume these guys will be employees or contractors or whatever at some point with unlimited eligibility.
I still care but no longer have season tickets and my interest level has dropped from a 10 to maybe a 3. No reason to watch lower level pro ball. Might as well watch the NFL (which I don't care about either).
1 - Utah...I don't think it's close. Greatest home atmosphere I've ever experienced.
2 - 12-3 vs Tech (The Great White Hit)
3 - Baylor 2015 rain game
Blowouts of UT and OU would be next.
It's all about the Benjamins now - with the salary cap and free agency this is now a feeder league for the NFL...nothing more. And not everyone gets mad at legacy kids...a lot of them want to make their own path. Good for them.
Speaking of the upcoming season, I got another email this morning that Season Tickets are available...never received these in the past after the season ticket deadline. I think this is the 3rd one now.

I think NIL, combined with new rosters/transfers every year and the fact that it's now a professional sport have all contributed. I know my interest level has dropped.
