I was wondering the same thing.

    Hoover to the portal

If Indiana is smart they will commit a lot up front but deduct money, maybe 100K or so, for each turnover he is responsible for. I'm thinking that a big multimillion dollar contract expenditure might end up being chump change by the end of the season.

I hear that Tech is going after him. They will pay him more stupid money than we will.

KDFW: Execution date set for man who abducted, killed retired TCU professor

Too bad it is taking so long to get rid of this scumbag.

FWST: TCU likes coach Sonny Dykes. But does it like him enough to extend his contract?

I don't think it's going to matter who the coaches are until we have enough money to pay players to compete with the likes of Tech. I'm not a big Briles fan but I will say this. He had one of the top running offenses in the country at Arkansas. Here we have had virtually no running offense the...

SB Nation: TCU OL Cade Bennett to receive NCAA waiver, return for 2026 season

If he stays here. Tech may pay him a million bucks to be a backup.

FWST: 4 takeaways: Why Sonny Dykes is so high on TCU football's 2026 recruiting class

Looks like we signed some promising players that we can develop and then lose to schools paying ridiculous NIL money.

FWST: TCU football year in review: How should this season be viewed?

Yes and he also wasn't working with an O line of upper-tier Power 4 caliber.

    Bowl projection

Yes and since he took over they have quit soliciting feedback from those of us who spend thousands of dollars on club seats. I used to get weekly emails asking for feedback but now it is crickets. It certainly gives the appearance that the administration doesn't care.

State of college football (and TCU) summed up.

I am an ex-letterman and have been passionate about TCU athletics for 5 decades. I have been a FB season ticket holder for the last 42 years. I am no Cody Campbell but I have given substantial stock gifts and cash to TCU in the last 20 years. I have great front row club seats but I am not...

TCU on SI: Is It Time To Move on From Kendal Briles?

I think it is largely due to OL issues. Briley's actually had a pretty stellar rushing offense when he was at Arkansas. I don't think he suddenly became unable to produce an effective rushing offensive scheme. I think it is a personnel problem. We are clearly getting killed in the NIL era.

    Bowl projection

It was a lot of fun and a big win for the Frogs but yes it was very cold. I actually layered up so heavily that I started sweating and had to shed a couple of layers at the game, lol.

ASU QB Leavitt is shopping himself for a new job, may not be back in 2026

I agree 100%. What we are looking at is low level professional sports without any structure. These kids can leave whenever they want. There are no multi year contracts. Not only that but 18 and 20-year-olds aren't mature enough to make professional level decisions.

    Fans Are Losing Interest Buddie

Yes relations are damaged with substantial donors for a number of reasons. I for one have stopped donating other than buying my season club tickets for several thousand dollars a year but that is probably going to end after this year. Unless we are going to seriously compete with the ridiculous...

Next four games--what do you expect?

Exquisite lambic. I had the chance to sample it directly from a keg shipped from Belgium at a homebrewing convention about 25 years ago. Absolutely amazing.

Is this a turning point in TCU football?

I have much the same experience on row one of my section. For a while yesterday we were the only ones sitting on the row. I also find it annoying that we used to have good food in the club back when people like Jon Bonnell used to cater it and serve high-quality gourmet food. Now we are treated...

Is this a turning point in TCU football?

I am thinking of giving up my club seats as well, partly because the games have become insufferable due to the ever-increasing number of long TV timeouts which completely destroy the flow of the game - at least for me. The game day experience is just not what it used to be unfortunately. And...

Yahoo! Sports: Deion Sanders says 'I think I got more blood clots' after coaching against TCU while wearing just one shoe

I like him for the most part and do truly feel bad for him and his sudden severe health issues at a relatively young age but then again he also chastised those of us who were smart enough to avoid the Covid clot shots that he worshipped. Unfortunately for him karma is a beyotch.

    NCAA Baseball Regionals

If you are a decent but uninspiring pitcher and want to look like a Cy Young ace then try to get TCU on your schedule on a night that you're going to pitch.
